Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to lumitada.com, the LumiTada SHOPLINE store at us.lumitada.com, our order and support communications, and the personalized video service together referred to as the Services. LumiTada is the merchant responsible for the personalization information described here. SHOPLINE and payment providers also process checkout information under their own privacy terms.

Adults and children’s information

The Services are offered to adults purchasing for a child; they are not intended for children to use on their own. The purchaser confirms that they are the child’s parent, legal guardian, or another adult authorized to provide the child’s details and photo for the order.

We do not knowingly ask a child to submit information directly. If you believe a child submitted information without appropriate adult authorization, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Information we collect

• Purchaser and support information, such as name, email, order number and messages sent to us.
• Order and transaction information, including selected product, price, payment status and checkout details. Full payment-card numbers are handled by the checkout and payment providers and are not provided to LumiTada.
• Personalization information supplied by an authorized adult, such as a child’s first name, age, celebration date, pronunciation, language, personal message and photo.
• Subscription information, such as an email address and consent record when someone joins the LumiTada mailing list.
• Technical and usage information, such as browser type, device, IP address, referring page and interactions collected through essential cookies or analytics tools.

How we use information

• Create, review, deliver and support the personalized video order.
• Process checkout, prevent fraud, maintain records and comply with legal obligations.
• Communicate about an order, requested correction, delivery or support inquiry.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Services.
• Send product news or offers only where the recipient has subscribed or applicable law otherwise permits it. Marketing emails can be unsubscribed from at any time.

Children’s photos and personalization details

A child’s photo and personalization details are used for order production, quality review, delivery and related support. We do not sell this content, use it to build an advertising profile about the child, or publish the finished video or photo without separate permission from an authorized adult.

Access is limited to people and service providers who need it to fulfil or support the order. Please do not upload unnecessary sensitive information or images containing other children unless you are authorized to do so.

Service providers and disclosures

We may share only the information reasonably needed with service providers that host the websites and files, power SHOPLINE checkout, process payments, deliver email, help produce orders, provide analytics or prevent fraud. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the Services, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention, security and international processing

We keep personalization files only for as long as reasonably necessary to produce and deliver the order, handle support or disputes, protect the Services and meet legal obligations. Transaction and tax records may be retained longer than production files. An authorized adult may request deletion of a child’s photo or personalization content, subject to limited legal or security exceptions.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than the customer’s; where required, recognized transfer safeguards are used by the responsible provider.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw marketing consent. We may need to verify the requester and their authority before acting on a request involving a child’s information.
